Ranks
Everyone in Realm of Rogues starts at the bottom, as a serf. With standing from crimes, stealing horses and other deeds you work your way up, all the way to the top: King.
What a rank gives you
Every rank opens new possibilities: hiring minstrels from Squire, founding a house from Rider, heavy crimes and horses from Knight. With every new rank you also get gold coins.
Better gear
You buy weapons, protection and ways of travel step by step. For each next step you need a higher rank, and experience from the whole game: crimes, stolen horses, fights and attacks, victories on the training ground, hired minstrels, a house and sieges. Under Equipment you can see per item what you've already achieved.
Who you can attack
You may attack anyone up to three ranks above or below you. A King only fights another King.
